  • I, the undersigned and/or being the legal and acting guardian representing a minor participant, hereby release, waive and discharge Young Actors Academy of Performing Arts and its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, independent contractors and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of Young Actors Academy of Performing Arts. I understand that activities as conducted by and taught at Young Actors Academy of Performing Arts have inherent risks of injury. I recognize that the participant is exposing himself/herself to such risks when undertaking physical activities. I, the undersigned and/or being the legal and acting guardian representing a minor participant assume and accept all risks of injury or damages resulting from such activities.
  • Each session tuition must be paid in full upon registration. Missed classes will not be refunded for any reason. Tuition will be prorated if joining a class after the first week. If your child decides to leave the session after the first class a refund will be given for the remaining classes. No refunds will be given after the second class. We reserve the right to cancel any class that does not meet minimum enrollment requirement, if this is the case full refunds will be given.
  • I understand that images and videos of the participant may be used in Young Actors Academy of Performing Arts ads, promotional/rehearsal videos, website material, or various other marketing. These images will be used Young Actors Academy of Performing Arts purposes only and will not be given or sold to outside companies or individuals.
  • Students are expected to behave with respect for their teachers and fellow students. We reserve the right to remove any child who exhibits behavior that is dangerous to themselves or to the other children or who is continually inappropriate or disruptive. Safety of all students is our first concern. Any student who does not comply with the rules or who is chronically late or unprepared, fails to bring their materials to class or learn lines in a timely fashion may be dismissed from the class or program. Please remind students that cell phones have to be turned off and put away in their bags during class.
  • Students must respect their teachers and fellow students at all times. In order to provide a positive experience for all students, YAA maintains the right to dismiss any child. Cooperation and mutual respect are mandatory requirements of our program. FOR CLASSES: please make sure you arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to class. Students who are persistently late may lose their spot in the class. Attendance is taken at the beginning of each class. It is important your child attends class every week. Absences and tardiness can hold back and disrupt an entire class. FOR PRIVATE COACHING: If you are late for your private lesson, time will not be made up. Your lesson will still finish as scheduled. Please note there is a 12 hour cancellation policy for private coaching.
  • I understand that my child's participation in this program is not dependent on or affected by the role he or she is cast. No roles are precast. Casting is at the discretion of the directors and owners of the company, there is no guarantee your child will receive a role they request or prefer.
